Barcelona is without doubt one of the most culturally rich and archecturally stunning cities in Europe. From the old town quarters of “el born” to the bustle of the main strip “les rambla” it has sooo much to see, We spent five glorious spring days touring the city, finding the best local tapas places to dine and covering all the local tourist attractions like Gaudi’s famous architectural haunts like the “sagrada de familia” I would absolutely recommend renting a bike, we used a rental shop called green bikes, a small reasonable price bike shop with very helpful staff telling us the best routes around the city. As with any major European city with ample bike routes I always source out a bike rental, because it is the best way to see a city at your own leisure!
